West Meadows Raceway Applies for Race Days in 2010

West Meadows Raceway is ready for racing and has applied for eight race
days to be raced in the summer of 2010. It is hoped that approved race
dates for the new Regina track will be in addition to the race meets in
Yorkton and Marquis Downs in Saskatoon.

It has been a busy year completing final requirements at the racetrack
which is currently open for training. The race paddock is now up and the
front area for race fans including fencing, picnic tables/bleacher seating
and parking area are all now ready for action. The officials building was
completed earlier this year and will house the mutuels area on the lower
level and the officials on the second floor. Stalls are available and
horsemen should reserve in advance and can do so by completing stall
application (available online) or by contacting Jane Grainger at (306)
